About

My name is Alexander Stopher and I’m a 21-year-old BSc Games Technology (essentially a branch of computer science, but with elements of engineering, mathematics, and physics) student at the University of the West of England, now in my second year.

I’m from Guernsey but live in Bristol (U.K) for university. I love to program in my spare time (anything ranging from games to websites) but consider myself a specialist in computer security (which I find helps me develop secure applications, absent from most of the security issues that quite a few developers I see include in their software).

My other hobbies include reading, current affairs, and computer gaming. My other interests include physics, engineering, and space exploration. I love science fiction (esp. Star Trek).
